DRRNetPhils calls to institutionalize disaster risk reduction and management through partnerships with national and local government units and communities in reducing vulnerabilities and enhancing capacities for disaster resiliency in the Philippines.
The DRRNetPhils has undertaken legislative advocacy in both houses of the Congress to support the passage of the DRRM bill and its Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR), together with attending committee and public hearings, conduct of research and evidenced- based presentations, carrying out awareness raising initiatives and mobilization (IEC), networks among the stakeholders, and generates public support and positive action.
